This project earned LEED Gold Certification, a first for Denver Public Schools.
The Hinkley High School remodel and addition incorporated eight phases over a 24-month period. The project encompassed 293,500-square-feet. This extensively phased project was accomplished while 1600 students and staff were in attendance and without incident.
This 96,300-square-foot school is located off I-80 in Rawlins, Wyoming. The new school allowed Carbon County School District 1 to combine three existing community schools thus decreasing maintenance and facility costs and allowing for more interaction between teachers.
Strong community involvement during design helped develop a facility that serves as a central fixture of the community.
This Design-Build project for Comcast Wholesale’s downtown office included construction on two office suites — totaling 14,000-square-feet of tenant improvement work. The project is located on the 5th floor of an occupied building. The new space includes a technology demonstration center, along with office and administrative space for regional personnel.
The owner’s primary concerns of budget and schedule were amplified by their apprehension of the design-build process. However, the very nature of the envisioned project mandated an integrated project delivery model that only design-build could provide. The collaboration among the team from the onset settled the fears of the unknown and teamwork soon took the forefront.
