The building includes a state-of-the-art workplace environment and supports unique programming reflective of the educational, arts, heritage, and hospitality functions critical to the mission and values of the Association. A robust palette of natural and recycled materials provide continuity with the legacy of the Stock Show and a sense of connection to the architectural language of the rural west. A carefully articulated and expressive building form establishes a dynamic civic gateway onto the National Western Campus and celebrates the vital role of the Association and the Stock Show into the future.
The Legacy Building now houses a variety of spaces and uses, including a ground-level welcome and public engagement area, conference level with boardroom and flexible conference space, office level for administrative support, and the National Western Club level with bars, dining areas, and the Western Lounge for members.
