Colorado State University Indoor Practice Facility

Owner's savings on the project allowed for multiple upgrades, including: custom polished concrete floor in the front lobby, upgraded office interiors, sandblasted Ram logo in the entry, upgraded ceiling and lighting design, and exterior upgrades, including large stucco and stone veneer columns on the gymnasium and landscaping enhancements.

This 63,190-square-foot Colorado State University (CSU) Indoor Practice Facility includes a 70-yard indoor turf field and 1½ court indoor basketball/volleyball court. A four-lane running track on the north end of the field is finished with an outdoor track surface. Additionally, the field can be split in half with the use of the center divider net, allowing two sports to practice simultaneously. There is also a net for kicking field goals on the west end of the field and batting cages on the east end for the softball team.

Saunders Construction added perforated metal panels to the inside of the building to hide all exposed structural steel.

This project received LEED Gold Certification in 2009.
