Funded through the district’s 2021 bond program, the project is part of a larger investment in STEM and CTE education across all district high schools. Saunders served as the CM/GC partner for the transformation of Brighton High School’s CTE department, creating modern learning environments that better connect students with future career pathways.
The project included a 41,500-square-foot renovation and a 55,000-square-foot addition that links two existing buildings into a cohesive educational hub. The new and renovated spaces strategically cluster CTE programs together while providing flexible classrooms and specialized learning environments. The completed facility supports nearly 30 industry certifications across six career pathways, equipping students with hands-on experience, technical skills, and credentials that prepare them for success after graduation.
The project received the 2024 Best Project Winner Award, K-12 Education from Engineering News-Record Mountain States.
