Colorado State University Walter Scott Jr. College of Engineering
This project had one simple goal — to create a better world for future generations through education, innovation and infrastructure that reflects the future of
engineering....
Bioscience 5 is the third building Saunders was contracted to complete as a result of a collaborative development effort between CU Anschutz and the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority.
This new flexible manufacturing space features office suites, research bays, clean rooms and wet labs to accommodate cell and gene therapy, chemistry, biology, GMP and medical device tenants. The building was planned as a high architecture tilt wall structure with high bay ceilings for flexible tenant use. Construction is taking place with no floor slab poured to keep the floor easily accessible for future utilities to specialized lab equipment to be run as tenants begin to occupy the building.
