Designed to support ongoing law enforcement education and preparedness, the project provides modernized facilities that accommodate a wide range of firearms training exercises.
The work included upgrades to two existing ranges and the construction of a new third range, significantly increasing the site’s training capacity. To support new bullet backstops and covered canopy structures, the project required the installation of more than 75 caissons throughout the site.
Construction was particularly complex due to the property’s sloped terrain, which required carefully planned cut-and-fill operations and precise sequencing to maintain progress and ensure safe installation of structural elements. The successful coordination of earthwork, caisson installation, and range berm construction was critical to delivering a durable, high-performance training environment that will serve law enforcement personnel for years to come.
