Saunders is currently constructing a new indoor aquatics center for Overland High School.
The 2024 Bond for Cherry Creek School District (CCSD) funded major and minor upgrades and extensive deferred maintenance to the original school building, and construction of a new natatorium with an 8-lane competition pool and diving area for Overland’s competitive swimming and diving teams.
The new 35,000-square-foot aquatics center will include:
- Steel-framed construction
- 25-yard competition pool
- Diving well
- Spectator seating for 300+
- Two new classrooms
- Team room
- Locker rooms
- Pool mechanical and equipment rooms
