Read More →The 86,500-square-foot, five-level addition includes new lab spaces, procedure rooms, waiting areas, operating rooms, a 24-bed ICU specifically for cardiac care, and associated support spaces. With the top two floors remaining core & shell space, the project allows for current and future expansion of the hospital’s cardiovascular department.
Saunders was later awarded the central utility plant (CUP) expansion to support the tower expansion. The team added a new chiller and space for a future chiller in the existing CUP building.
The Heart and Vascular Tower provides a full spectrum of services in one place, including minimally invasive procedures, open heart surgery, cardiac catheterization, and more. Specialists will have leading-edge technology to treat the most complicated cases.
