Relocating from Denver’s River North neighborhood to Commerce City allowed the organization to establish a larger, more centralized operation that improves delivery efficiency and better supports its growing service area. The renovation transformed the existing warehouse into a functional facility featuring a large commercial kitchen, walk-in freezer storage, a delivery dock, office space, and dedicated warehouse storage areas.
The project included extensive interior demolition, installation of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, significant roofing repairs and upgrades, and construction of a new outdoor concrete patio for employee use. The completed facility provides Volunteers of America with a modern, efficient space to support its mission of serving meals to community members in need.
