Colorado State University Walter Scott Jr. College of Engineering
This project had one simple goal — to create a better world for future generations through education, innovation and infrastructure that reflects the future of
engineering....
Exterior finishes include native natural stone from the foothills of Colorado, composite metal paneling and high efficiency curtain wall glazing. The existing Student Recreation Center remained occupied and fitness programming and services continued throughout construction activities to the high level satisfaction of the university. Achieving LEED Gold Certification, the project incorporates many sustainable features including construction waste recycling, sustainable materials and finishes and energy efficient mechanical/electrical upgrades.
