Saunders completed the build-out of a new distribution facility in a 1.1 million-square-foot concrete tilt-up building on a 116-acre site. The facility includes 200,000 square feet of mezzanine and 650,000 square feet of freezer and cooler space — the largest system of its kind in a five-state region. Standing 74 feet tall, the building was designed with multi-level pick modules and an extensive conveyor system. The master-planned site also allows for future Phase II development, expanding Shamrock’s food service operations on its new regional campus.
Louisville Food Service Warehouse
Saunders completed the design-build, tenant improvement project to build-out a 28,000-square-foot wholesale retail food center for Shamrock Foods in an existing warehouse building. The store is a restaurant supply store that is open to the public featuring hundreds of Colorado-grown or manufactured items.
Fueling Canopy
Awarded through a hard bid process, Saunders constructed a new fueling station and canopy at Shamrock Foods Aurora Warehouse and Distribution center. The warehouse and site remained active during construction requiring close coordination with the owner.
Ivy Jensen Facility Upgrade
To support increased production capacity and streamline packaging operations, Saunders delivered a complex facility upgrade for Shamrock Foods. The project centered on constructing a new space to house a blow-mold system and integrating a fully automated packaging and material handling process. A new exterior silo was installed to store plastic pellets, the raw material used in the bottle manufacturing process.
