Executed over two consecutive summers, the project modernized key areas of the 205,000-square-foot campus while minimizing disruption to school operations and academic activities.
The renovation included extensive upgrades to the school’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building controls systems, improving building performance and reliability for students and staff. Additional improvements completed during the first phase included renovations to the swimming pool and football stadium locker rooms, the addition of a secure entry vestibule, and updates to science labs, classrooms, and the auditorium.
A centerpiece of the second phase was the complete transformation of the 5,034-square-foot library. The space was fully gutted and rebuilt with new finishes, lighting, power systems, custom wood features, updated signage, a new check-in desk, solid surface countertops, and modern furnishings. Construction was carefully coordinated within an active school environment to maintain safety and minimize disruption.
The completed project provides Thompson Valley High School with updated infrastructure, enhanced security, and modern learning environments that support student success for years to come.
