The Thompson Valley High School & Library Renovation is part of the Thompson Valley High School Feeder System project package, which included eight schools totalling just over $21 million. The project was broken into two summers, 2020 and 2021. The scope of work on the 205,000-square-foot school included extensive HVAC, plumbing, controls, and electrical upgrades. The swimming pool and football stadium lockers were also remodeled during the first phase of this project. A new secured entry vestibule was added, science labs, auditorium and classrooms received minor renovations.
The 5,034-square-foot library received an extensive remodel during phase two of this project, and was also constructed in a fully operational school. The scope of work included a full gut and replacement, to include new carpeting, ceiling tiles, wood features, check-in desk, solid surface counter tops, lighting and power, new paint and new signage.
