Read More →Saunders completed the renovation of multiple spaces within Overland High School’s Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Building, expanding opportunities for career and technical education while supporting the school’s commitment to workforce readiness and STEM learning. Originally constructed by Saunders in 2011, the 58,000-square-foot facility serves as a progressive science academy for middle and high school students, fostering innovation and academic excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The renovation introduced new learning environments designed to support an expanded curriculum focused on practical, career-oriented skills. These updated spaces enable Overland High School to offer a broader range of programs that provide students with hands-on experience and real-world training aligned with industry needs.
By enhancing the IST Building, the project helps prepare students for a variety of career pathways, including opportunities that do not require additional post-secondary education. The result is a modernized educational environment that equips graduates with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in an evolving workforce.
