Nix Farm Natural Areas Office Facility

This two-story 4,125-square-foot office building houses the growing City of Fort Collins Natural Areas department located on the historic Nix Farm Natural Area.

The project was designed to be LEED Gold, featuring 90 solar panels, solar tubes, six 400-foot geothermal wells, heat pumps and natural lighting. The pergola has a flagstone floor, natural stone-clad support pillars, beetle kill wood sunshade and a boulder wall.

The interior contains offices, conference room with flexwall, unisex bathrooms, IT room, artist studio, break area, copy room and utility room.
