Since 2012, Saunders North has served as the preferred construction manager/general contractor for Houska Automotive, Inc., providing construction services for multiple facilities across the company’s Fort Collins campus. This long-standing partnership reflects a shared commitment to quality, operational excellence, and facilities that support the evolving needs of one of Northern Colorado’s most respected automotive service providers.

The Houska Heavy Duty facility was developed to expand the company’s capabilities in commercial vehicle maintenance and tire retreading. The 12,674-square-foot building was designed specifically to accommodate the unique demands of servicing large vehicles and fleet operations while providing an efficient and durable work environment for technicians and staff.

The facility includes seven oversized overhead doors that allow easy access for a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from box trucks and dump trucks to over-the-road semis, buses, motorhomes, trailers, and specialty fleet equipment. The service bays are configured to maximize operational efficiency while providing the flexibility necessary to accommodate diverse maintenance and repair needs.

In addition to the maintenance and tire retreading operations, the building includes office space and a customer reception area that support day-to-day business functions and enhance the customer experience. The combination of administrative and service areas creates a fully integrated facility capable of supporting both fleet clients and individual vehicle owners.

The result is a purpose-built heavy-duty service center that strengthens Houska Automotive’s ability to serve commercial and industrial transportation customers while supporting the company’s continued growth and reputation for dependable service throughout the region.
