Read More →One of the more challenging projects Saunders completed at this facility was the construction of a new home for a new state-of-the-art Linear Accelerator. The project involved demolition, shoring, excavation, drilling, helical piers, utility relocation, mechanical work, and most importantly, a demanding concrete design and installation – all below a fully operational surgical suite.
Throughout this difficult demolition and excavation, Saunders worked daily with Swedish staff to schedule activity around critical hospital needs. The hospital remained fully operational during this project with no unplanned service disruptions. Infection Control and Interim Life Safety Measures were an essential part of Saunders’ work.
