Designed with trauma-informed care in mind, the building offers natural light, views of nature, and calming elements like plants and artwork that contribute to a sense of calm and stress reduction.
The first level houses offices, patient intake and consult rooms, and back-of-house utilities. The second level is nearly all patient space with some offices throughout.
Level three is built to offer staff respite with large interior and exterior staff break areas, private offices, and a large conference room.
This project stands out for its commitment to quality, ensuring that every space meets the rigorous standards required for behavioral health facilities. These spaces are thoughtfully designed to minimize risks by preventing access to items that could be used for self-harm or harm to others. As a result, the construction process demanded special attention to detail to reflect these specialized design requirements.
