The multi-phased project was carefully planned to improve functionality, support evolving operational needs, and ensure continuity of services throughout construction.
For the Coroner’s Office, the project included the addition of a new cooler and vehicle bay adjacent to the existing autopsy suite, as well as renovations to the autopsy area and several supporting spaces. Additional improvements were made throughout the facility to enhance efficiency, safety, and long-term performance.
The project also transformed a portion of the existing Sheriff’s Department offices into a new home for the Probation Department, creating updated workspaces better suited to current operational requirements. Building-wide upgrades included improvements to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with targeted replacement of exterior building envelope components.
Because the facility remained occupied and fully operational throughout construction, the work was executed in carefully sequenced phases. Extensive coordination ensured personnel could continue serving the public while renovations progressed safely and efficiently.
