The Streets at SouthGlenn

The redevelopment of the outdated and underused Southglenn Mall in Centennial, Colo., transformed this once fully enclosed mall into an energetic and eclectic outdoor experience.

Filled with shaded walkways and public spaces, The Streets at SouthGlenn is designed to provide urban convenience in a suburban setting. Existing retail anchors, Sears and Foley’s (Macy’s), remained dominant anchors for this redevelopment, and both stores stayed open throughout construction.

The Streets at Southglenn features 571,000 square feet of retail space consisting of a gourmet natural foods market, a movie theater, a bookstore, European bistros, sidewalk cafés, and unique women’s and men’s apparel.

As a true mixed-use development, The Streets at Southglenn also includes over 600,000 square feet of residential space as well as 150,000 square feet of office space. A new six-level, 1,800-stall parking structure provides convenient access to the desired destinations.

This project received multiple industry awards, including:
