Read More →Designed as a comprehensive wellness destination, this 95,000-square-foot facility serves as a hub for health, fitness, nutrition, research, and lifestyle management on the Anschutz Medical Campus. The project was created to provide an integrated approach to well-being, offering a wide range of services and resources within a single, accessible location.
The facility combines clinical, educational, and fitness-focused spaces to support individuals in achieving healthier lifestyles. Program elements include offices, conference and training rooms, a demonstration kitchen, a healthy foods café and bistro, and a healthy foods grocery market. These amenities promote nutrition education and healthy eating while creating opportunities for community engagement and learning.
Fitness and wellness offerings include a state-of-the-art fitness center, therapeutic pool, locker facilities, and accommodations for overnight stays, providing users with comprehensive support for both preventive and restorative health programs. Together, these spaces create a holistic environment that encourages long-term wellness and healthy living.
In addition to the building itself, the project included significant site development and infrastructure improvements to support the facility and enhance connectivity across the campus.
The result is a landmark wellness center that serves as a beacon for health, bringing together research, education, nutrition, and fitness resources to improve quality of life for patients, staff, students, and the broader community.
This project received LEED Gold Certification in 2012.
