Read More →The Amble is a luxury residential community currently under construction at the base of Steamboat Resort, marking the first new condominium development in the resort’s base area in more than 15 years. Developed by East West Partners, the project combines high-end mountain living with industry-leading sustainability, helping shape the next chapter of Steamboat’s residential landscape.
The 107,000-square-foot development includes 42 residences ranging from one- to four-bedroom floorplans, thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort, efficiency, and connection to the surrounding mountain environment. As a fully electric building targeting net-zero operational carbon, The Amble incorporates advanced energy-saving technologies, including systems that capture and reuse energy to heat domestic water, the pool, and spa. Additional sustainable features include triple-pane windows, high-performance insulation, induction cooktops, and water vapor fireplaces.
Residents will enjoy approximately 6,500 square feet of shared amenities, including a heated outdoor pool and spa, fitness center, club lounge, ski lockers, and landscaped gathering spaces. The four-story building is supported by a full below-grade parking structure providing 42 heated and secured parking spaces.
Saunders is serving as the CM/GC for the project, overseeing construction on the constrained 1.63-acre site adjacent to the Steamboat Grand and across from the Gondola Transit Center. The location requires meticulous phasing and coordination to maintain public safety, preserve access, and support uninterrupted resort operations throughout construction.
