St. Joseph Outpatient Medical Center

Located on a one-acre site in the heart of the North Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, the new St. Joseph Medical Office Pavilion includes three floors dedicated to Class A medical office space.

The ground floor houses convenient retail and restaurant venues. The rooftop offers a unique indoor/outdoor space and scenic views of downtown Denver and the Front Range. Additionally, the project features ground-level, covered parking for physicians and an adjacent parking lot offering free parking for patients, visitors, and tenant employees.

To make the project financially viable for the developer and anchor tenant, Intermountain Health, Saunders provided extensive preconstruction services to evaluate numerous options from conceptual estimates of high-level programmatic uses and value analysis of individual systems and materials. The project team met with the design team and owner regularly throughout design development to come up with creative solutions to keep the owner within budget.

The project won the 2020 Development of the Year Award, Medical Office 50,000-100,000 SF from Healthcare Real Estate Insights.
