Read More →Developed by Saunders Development, the new Saunders headquarters serves as a physical expression of the company’s culture, expertise, and vision for the future. Located within Inverness Business Park on a six-acre site, the development establishes a modern workplace environment while preserving opportunities for future growth through additional build-to-suit office space on the remainder of the property.
The approximately 36,000-square-foot headquarters was thoughtfully designed to reflect Saunders’ roots in general contracting and its commitment to craftsmanship. A defining architectural feature is a prominent concrete structure that bisects the building, symbolically honoring the company’s long-standing expertise in construction while creating a bold visual identity for the facility.
The design emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and employee well-being. Interior and exterior spaces were planned to support a variety of work styles, while active design strategies encourage movement and engagement throughout the workday. Features such as prominent stairways, outdoor work environments, and an on-site fitness facility promote health and wellness while enhancing the overall employee experience.
Sustainability is also woven throughout the project, with the incorporation of repurposed materials sourced from previous construction projects and other environmentally responsible design strategies. These elements reflect the company’s commitment to reducing waste, supporting resource conservation, and demonstrating leadership in sustainable construction practices.
As both a workplace and a showcase of the company’s capabilities, the headquarters creates a lasting home for Saunders while supporting future growth and reinforcing the values that have defined the organization for generations.
This project received LEED Silver Certification in 2018.
