The Stanley Chocolate Factory
Transforming a historic landmark into a one-of-a-kind destination for craftsmanship, hospitality, and community....
Read More →This renovation transformed a former community events building into a warm, inviting healthcare clinic that integrates women’s medical services with counseling and other social support resources. Designed to provide compassionate care in a comfortable setting, the clinic creates an environment where expectant mothers and families can access both healthcare and community-based support services.
Saunders Construction was selected through a negotiated CM/GC process to complete the comprehensive renovation and tenant improvement project. The work involved the complete interior gut and remodel of the 3,600-square-foot, single-story brick building, which was previously utilized by Colorado State University and Saint John XXIII Parish as an event space.
The renovation reconfigured the interior to support the clinic’s operations, including new exam and support spaces, updated bathrooms, and relocated kitchen and break room facilities. Major building system upgrades included a new HVAC system, lighting, walls, doors, flooring, ceilings, and finishes throughout. Exterior improvements included replacement of all existing windows, a new roof, landscape enhancements, new accent siding, and brick restoration, creating a refreshed facility that better serves the needs of the community.
