Colorado Department of Transportation – Brush Vehicle Storage Facility
Delivering a cost-effective maintenance facility through early collaboration and strategic preconstruction planning....
Read More →Constructed at Centennial Airport, this 35,000-square-foot aviation facility was designed to accommodate JVB Aviation’s corporate jet while providing high-end operational, office, and support spaces. Combining specialized aircraft storage with executive amenities, the facility delivers a secure and efficient environment tailored to private aviation needs.
The hangar portion of the project is a pre-engineered steel structure featuring a 200-foot clear span and 32-foot interior clear height, allowing unobstructed aircraft storage and maneuverability. To create the expansive open space, 200-foot-long roof beams were assembled at ground level and lifted into place using two cranes. A multi-panel rolling hangar door provides a clear opening measuring 154 feet wide by 28 feet high, accommodating aircraft with wingspans up to 99 feet.
Attached to the hangar is a two-story office building and a single-story garage capable of housing up to nine vehicles. These support spaces provide administrative, operational, and executive functions while maintaining direct connectivity to the aviation facilities.
To enhance durability and aesthetics, the hangar and garage floors were finished with premium 30-mil epoxy and urethane coatings, creating a clean, high-performance surface suitable for aviation operations. The facility also incorporates advanced security, data, and communications systems designed to protect valuable assets while supporting modern business and flight operations.
The result is a first-class corporate aviation facility that combines sophisticated engineering, operational efficiency, and executive-quality finishes in a secure and highly functional environment.
