This 35,000-square-foot aircraft hangar facility was constructed at Centennial Airport to house JVB Aviation's new corporate jet. The hangar wing is a pre-engineered steel building with a 200-foot clear span and 32-foot interior clear height. The 200-foot steel roof beams were assembled on the ground and lifted into place with two cranes. The multi-panel rolling hangar door has a clear opening of 154-by-28 feet to accommodate the 99-foot wingspan of the jet.
The hangar is attached to a two-story office building and a single story garage which accommodates up to nine cars. The entire hangar and garage floors are covered with 30 mil epoxy and urethane covers, providing a first-class finish.
A state-of-the-art security, data and communications system was also installed to protect the corporate jet.
