Saunders completed the renovation of the high school's IST building to expand programs for career and technical education.
Saunders completed a renovation of multiple spaces within Overland High School’s IST Building. Originally built by Saunders in 2011, the IST is a 58,000-square-foot progressive science academy for middle and high school students that facilitates the advancement of its graduates to be among the nation’s leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) studies.
With the new learning spaces, Overland can now offer an expanded course catalog with an emphasis on teaching students real-world career skills. These courses will enable graduates to pursue career options that do not require continuing education. Some of the expanded programs include:

- Robotics Lab
- Surgical Assistance
- Sterile Medical Implement Processing
- Food Preparation Kitchen
- Food Service Cafe
- Broadcast Studio
- Audio/Visual Lab
