(Fort Collins, Colo.) – May 14, 2024 – Saunders Construction, a leading construction manager and general contractor in Colorado, grows its leadership capacity with the recent promotions of three tenured leaders in its northern Colorado office.
Gabriel Dunbar, a 14-year veteran of Saunders, has been promoted to director of project development for the Saunders North business unit. Dunbar is a Fort Collins native and graduate from Colorado State University. His hands-on construction experience brings a comprehensive approach to project development. Holding positions such as project engineer, estimator, project manager and most recently senior project manager, Dunbar’s expertise spans the lifecycle of a project – from procurement to successful completion.
As director of project development, Dunbar is focused on relationship building and supporting the business unit’s continuous growth. In his role, Dunbar is responsible for developing and expanding a network of clients, prospecting new business, and supporting work program strategies as an engaged leader during the procurement process.
Amanda Disney has been promoted to construction manager. Disney has been with Saunders since 2012, most recently working as a senior project manager on some of Saunders’ most notable projects, including the master facilities plan at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Cheyenne, Wyo. and the new ground-up Orthopaedic and Spine Center of the Rockies (OCR) clinic in Greeley.
Jeb Bair, an industry veteran with 16 years of experience in the construction industry, has also been promoted to construction manager. Bair has played a key role in the success of numerous large higher education and healthcare projects, most recently as a senior superintendent. Bair is a hands-on, goal-oriented leader with superior client skills.
As construction manager, Disney and Bair provide technical direction and senior management from project inception through completion. In collaboration with project stakeholders, they assist in establishing project objectives and track team performance to monitor overall progress. They work closely with clients and stakeholders on contract negotiations, project goals and status updates.
