Saunders is currently renovating and expanding the Career and Technical Education spaces at Brighton High School for the 27J School District.
School District 27J has made a historic investment in career education and training opportunities for their students — completing new STEM and CTE centers at each of their high schools to provide easy access to new, expanded programming. The projects are funded by the school district’s 2021 bond program.
Saunders was chosen as the CM/GC partner for the expansion of Brighton High School’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) department. This project includes a 41,500-square-foot renovation of the current space and an addition of 55,000 square feet, linking two existing buildings. The new areas will efficiently cluster the CTE departments within the school and allow flex classrooms to better prepare students for successful careers by providing nearly 30 certifications within six career pathways.
