Construction is in progress on 16 Chestnut, a sleek, new 19-story office tower that will be located at the base of the Millennium Bridge in Denver's Union Station neighborhood. This 648,874-square-foot office building is LEED Platinum Certified and takes advantage of the site's spectacular city and mountain views through an abundance of glass covering virtually the entire exterior.
Currently, more than 342,534-square-feet of 16 Chestnut has been leased to a single tenant, which will have its own entrance, lobby and vertical access, while the remaining space is available for lease. Saunders Construction broke ground on the tower, which was designed by Gensler, in the summer of 2016 and it is expected to be complete sometime in the fall of 2018. When complete, building tenants and guests will benefit from the area’s exceptional array of restaurants, hotels, entertainment and access to public transportation of all forms. Saunders Construction developed a detailed, highly-sequenced construction logistics plan to get materials, manpower and machinery into the congested urban site amid much other development without burdening the public or other building projects.
